Friday Nails: Born Pretty Flowers

Hey everyone! How’s your week been? Mine’s been crazy busy. :D

This week I received some review samples from Born Pretty Store. They sell nail art tools and decoration, and some really cute cosmetics, too. I picked out these cute dried flowers, because it’s something I haven’t tried before, or seen around locally. You get a wheel container where you can turn the opening to the one you want to pick – way easier, and less mess. Especially if you’re kinda clumsy like me!

I did a quick tutorial/look using two of the blue ones.

Stay tuned til the end of the post to get your exclusive 5% coupon code!

You will need:

- Born Pretty Ubique Dry Dried Flower Wheel  (Only $4.45!)

- Base colour (I’m using another Essence colour, in ’31′. You can get it from select Shopper’s Drug Marts. I haven’t found it anywhere else locally, sorry)

- Top coat, clear or matte.

Step one:

Pre-cut the flowers you want to the size you want.

1-2  coats of your base colour. You can place flowers while it’s dry, but I found it’s easier this way:

Step two:

Lay on a thick coat of clear polish. Carefully, using tweezers, place the flowers on your nail. Pat it gently with your finger to flatten it to your nail. Seal with a topcoat.

And you’re done! Barring the fact that I’m clumsier than a one legged goat, I love how these look! I may put a glitter coat over it too.

They’re very tiny, so use tweezers or something.

So you’re still here? Ok, here’s your 5% off discount code: MICHX61

Shop here: Born Pretty Store

Share it around to all your nail and make-up crazy friends! If more than 10 people use it, i’ll do a Born Pretty  giveaway!

Valid til December 31st, 2012.

Have a lovely weekend kittens!
