This week’s manicure is a scratch, messy look inspired by slime…and sparkles. Yes, really. Plus I wanted to use this Essence green 😀
You will need:
- Essence’s metallic green ’25’
- Essence’s sparkly mauve ’19’
- Some sort of fine point tool like a toothpick.
- A fine, dry paintbrush
- Nail polish remover + q-tips
2 coats of the mauve. Make sure it’s completely dry before moving on. I love this colour, it’s actually on my toenails right now too.
Using the pointed tool/toothpick, scoop up drops of the green ’19’ and haphazardly scribble it all over your nails. Go nuts!
Using a Q-tip dipped in remover, gently swab down the middle of your nail. Kinda like it’s buffed off a bit, but don’t go too hard!
While the remover is still drying, use the paintbrush to lightly dab a thin, scratchy patch of mauve ’25’ over the bit you ‘buffed’ off.
Finish with a topcoat, and you’re done!
