Friday Nails: Royal Blood

Hey Strangekittens. I’m a big Game of Thrones fan, and I especially love Daenerys. This week’s nails are for the blood of the dragon! Deep red for war, cream for her hair, and glitter for her dragons. Excuse my raggedy cuticles, lol!

You will need:

- A deep red, I used Essie’s Bordeux

- A white nail pen, or polish. I used one by Sally Hansen

- A clear glitter coat. Mine is from Wet ‘n Wild.

Step one

2-3 coats of the deep red. I used 3, but Essie have very inky formulas.

That colour is uber sexy all by itself!

Step two:

Get the pen, or polish, and draw random lines so they melt together like this:

Step 3:

You could just leave it like that if you wanted to. But because life is messy but I love me some glitz, and Daenerys is a bit of a mess but gorgeous…

Smush some glitter on there. I smushed it down hard to scrape and smudge it a bit.

I LOVE this. I should do it when my Commander Shepard nails start chipping off. :D

And now I have this idea for a “rubies in the Trident” manicure involving red glitter topcoat. ^^

I heart your Shepard manicure ^_^

Me too! Think I might try it with polish pens next time instead of the skinny brush ones I have now. Hard to get consistent line width using the brush kind. :P

Tis true…although i would recommend letting the base polish completely dry before using them pens, or is dents it and drags!
